personally, i have been hurt multiple times by multiple leaders - horror stories. however, i am a proud member of a church + other women/believer groups because i did the deep healing that is absolutely required.
i will tell you this before you read anything - what happened to you, how they treated you was wrong. i am not here to debate that, i simply want to give you a blueprint on how to confront it + move forward.

notice that Jesus didn’t affirm her sin. he didn’t approve her darkness although He didn’t agree w the scribes + the pharisees way of judging her.
He still told her, “Sin no more”. He may not have judged her in that moment, but He did correct her in love.
