you will always have a choice. some people don’t even know that they’re operating in their gifting bc they have only experienced the shadow side of it.
📍 where does the enemy attack you the most? odds are, that is your area of gifting. if he attacks, you can choose the latter option + never fulfill your purpose.
Esther’s gifting was actually beauty. she obtained favor, power + position with this gifting.
her gifting was used to fulfill the purpose of saving her people. the King made comments like, “What is it, Queen Esther? What is your request? Even up to half the kingdom, it will be given you.” (Esther 5:3) So when she made the request, the King gave her people all rights of freedom + they lived.
“perhaps you have been made queen for such a time as this” - God has a specific time in your life where your gifting + your journey will all makes sense🤍
📍 your gifting will always have someone else in mind. Gods gifts are meant to be given away, to serve others + to bring restoration, freedom or healing in order to give Him glory.
don’t let your heart lead you to an evil woman like that. don’t go where she wants to lead you. she has brought down some of the most powerful men; she has left many dead bodies in her path. her house is the place of death. the road to it leads straight to the grave.
proverbs 7:25-27
Delilah also had the gift of beauty. even though Samson falls in love with Delilah, she’s swayed by the Philistines, the enemies of the Israelites, to find the source of Samson’s strength. She cuts his hair when she finds out it is the “source” of his strength, rendering him weak. ultimately the Philistines capture Samson🥲
this is a perfect example of using your gifting to hurt, hinder or harm someone else + ultimately using it in a way that God didn’t intend. Esther saves her people, Delilah takes down the greatest, strongest leader. the choice is yours!
