💭 ғʀᴏᴍ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴏᴍᴀɴᴀɪʀᴇ what i appreciate most about Freke’s answer was that he wasn’t afraid to note his physical wants as well. many times we feel vain or shameful about things that may attract us. however, i do trust God to give me what i like! 👀 although physical attributes aren’t the most important, it’s refreshing to see someone confident + sure about God creating a woman for him that fits that area too.

i also appreciate that he thought deeply about what type of relationship w/God he would like his partner to have. sometimes it could be to balance him out, sometimes it could be to strengthen him in that area. i think his answers are so specific bc he’s spent a lot of honest time w/himself to figure that out.

male handsomeness + female beauty are good gifts from God. Scripture is unashamed to speak of men who had attractive physical appearances and of women who had beautiful faces and—get this—beautiful bodies

I am regularly asked if it is important for a Christian man or woman to be physically attracted to the person they are dating. One answer is that no, physical attraction isn’t important and shouldn’t be part of one’s initial consideration; rather, a person’s godly character should be the paramount factor. Another answer suggests that while godly character should be the primary factor, physical attraction is important and should also be part of the equation.
