as we continue our year as the daughters God called to dominate + reign, i felt it necessary to speak this week about the state of confusion + how to make it plain + simple for you.
sometimes i have a decision to make.
sometimes my life is upside down.
however, in the midst of confusion, there is always a clear message.
this week will teach you how to get to that message📍
during my seasons of confusion, i realized that i needed to SPEAK to that thing. i was sitting in confusion, tussling with a thousand thoughts + sitting in agony. All i needed to do was open my mouth.
this week we are going to initiate some decrees over our minds, lives, relationships, + circumstances so that confusion knows, “you can’t live here!”
sᴛᴇᴘ ᴏɴᴇ | what does the Word say?
stop what you’re doing + pick up the Bible.
ignore your emotions, other’s opinions, + your plans. the first thing you do in a time of confusion is seek to find out what God thinks about the matter. we change every single day, yet God is the same yday, today + forevermore. read the scriptures above to see all that the Word of God is capable of doing in a time of confusion. sounds like a perfect place to start if you ask me!
jeremiah 17:9 says, “the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?”
most of the time when i’m confused, it’s usually bc my heart strings have been pulled. based on how i’m feeling in that moment, it makes it hard for me to be decisive. the Word of God has helped me to be able to differentiate from authentic emotions and Godly perspectives.
if what i’m feeling doesn’t align with God’s Word, then it isn’t God’s best for me. there’s nothing confusing about that.
if you’ve been in planet womanaire, you know i have a playlist that i play every morning. well the past 2 weeks i’ve only been playing this one song/prayed by Sharde.
in a time or space of confusion, i allow her words to permeate my mind. i meditate on the decrees that she makes.
your mind is a battlefield, + as soon as your feet hit the floor in the morning, the battle can begin. this song helps to put me in focus, expectation + clarity.
